I was arrested in Suffolk County for a DWI. What is a high alcohol level?

That depends on many factors. Generally speaking, a breath alcohol content (BAC) of .08% or higher is considered DWI or  driving while intoxicated. Anything lower is (between .06-.07%) is DWAI, or impaired driving. An alcohol reading of .18% or higher is considered aggravated DWI. Obviously, the higher your alcohol level, the more serious the prosecutor's office will approach your case.
